GR8deals is a discount gift certificate fundraiser where families and fans purchase a gift certificate for a discount. I.e.: A $25 gift certificate might sell for $10, a 150% return for the buyer; a designated benefiting booster club receives 75% of the certificate purchase price, $7.50; and, the local business gets a customer on their redemption terms.
Booster clubs promote the GR8deals program on campus and in their community and receive checks year round.

Online auctions are a great idea but it is difficult for indificual booster clubs to make them work: Not enough auction items to generate real excitement and not enough bidders to create a bidding buzz.
But GR8auctions are local online auctions inviting 20, 50 or even 100 booster clubs to gather hundreds of auction items generating real bidder interest and tons of fans to bid on them. Year round!
Booster clubs acquire auction items and add or delete them through their own auction account. When items sell, GR8fundraisers process the transaction and the booster club receives 85%* of the item's close price. |
